Where's the Yugipedia Overhaul?

As you can probably tell, this is not the full UI overhaul that I've been talking about lately. Some things came up and it had to take a backseat again. Specifically, I got sidetracked with the latest privacy regulation (CCPA), trying to decipher it and figure out the best way to implement it in my apps without ruining user experience. Additionally, the analytics/crash reporting service that I use (Fabric) is shutting down soon, so I've been working on moving to a new one (Google Firebase).

Long story short, it's been a while since I put out a good feature update for Yugipedia. Was trying to save time by only adding features to the Yugipedia overhaul, but since that's taking forever to develop, I wanted to give you some new features to hold you until I can complete the overhaul. The timeline for the overhaul beta is fuzzy right now, as I still need to make similar changes in my other apps before I start working on it again, but rest assured the Yugipedia overhaul is coming eventually!

In the meantime, I've uploaded my latest deck tester changes as a public beta for both Android and iOS. It's only beta because it's been a while since I updated and I've made a LOT of changes to the code, so I'm expecting a few bugs. In my testing though, it has been stable, so hopefully it won't take long to iron out the bugs and do a full release.

What's New?

Deck Tester Update

LOTS of Deck Tester improvements in this update!

Share Deck Links

You can now share your deck as a URL link. This makes it MUCH easier to share your decks with your friends or the world. All they have to do is click your link and it will open Yugipedia on their phone and ask if they want to import the deck.

Share Card Links

Card links work the same way as deck links. Quickly show cards to your friends by giving them a link that shows the card in Yugipedia.

Privacy Settings (California residents)

Most of these changes are under the hood and won't be noticed, but I streamlined the experience for users who are governed by the latest privacy regulations, specifically the GDPR and CCPA. Most users won't notice any difference, but for affected users I tried to meet my privacy obligations without ruining the user experience.
